In Depth Table of Contents
Hey There !
I'm back! So I’ve been in a bit of shambles when it comes to doing my in depth layouts, so this is my last one. So today we'll be talking about table of contents !
Table of Contents is a really important aspect when it comes to books, magazines, novels etc. because it keeps the reader not only focused with where they stopped at but it can also help identify what attracts the readers eye and help them choose which section they would like to pick.
I added the picture of my classmates because I feel as though it's a good picture to express diversity and I feel like we don't really see that these days. It's only right to incorporate everyone from different cultures and backgrounds to add a bit of unity.
I was a bit conflicted when I went in to create these table of contents mainly because, I didn't know if the color contrast would throw off the whole look or if it looked too plain and simple. I feel as though I want to maybe still play with the color scheme and keep the Table of Contents font with the color to keep the theme flowing. I'm going to be frank, I'm really not that crazy about the table of contents but I think once I see everything together and flowing then I'll be able to decide a more exposing and outgoing theme for table of contents.
On the other hand though, I attempted to make some good headers that may apply to different senior student athletes like the topics of, cap advisor talk, nfl top ten and senior v senior. Some students may be interested In the journeys of the top ten nfl players and some other students may be interested in the struggles of friend groups and social anxiety and may have trouble making friendships outside of their sport, league or team. All in all I feel as though I catered to the majority and that my target audience is on the right track with students but the table of contents isn't as pleasing to the eye or appealing as I would like it to be. But, I feel as though it's all apart of making my magazine so I'm going to continue to try new things and I'll be back to show you all the progress of making my table of contents new and more modern, appealing and flowing with the variety of the magazine.
